If you haven’t heard of Covered Goods, it’s a company that makes hand cut and hand sewn multi-use nursing covers in the Los Angeles area. Jamie Yetter, owner and designer of Covered Goods and mother of four, created Covered Goods out of a need for greater privacy when nursing, without having to hide in a bathroom. Covered Goods provides true all over coverage, front and back, takes seconds to put on and take off, eliminates the worry that your little one can kick it off, and has the added benefit of a flexible neck! Though I didn’t nurse Amelia, we have used Covered Goods nursing cover for just about everything else! We use it as a shopping cart cover, a car seat cover (really great when it’s raining or super sunny, as a blanket (Amelia is a bit of a blanket hoarder!), and we’ve also had to rig it as a dress when Amelia spilled a drink all over her clothes and we didn’t have a spare outfit. It can also be worn as a scarf!

With the holidays coming up, this would make a great gift for any mom, but especially a nursing mom! I can’t believe that this week is already Thanksgiving! I feel like I’m so behind this year. Every time I cross one item off my to do list I add three more!
