Have you guys heard of Free Babes Handmade bows yet? It was created by a pretty amazing lady, Hillary, who was inspired when she had her first daughter to create classic bows to “serve as a blank slate for her individuality.” She says the quote that inspires her both in parenting and in business is one by Howard Thurman, “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is more people who have come alive.” Maybe we should all live by this quote! She was also just in Haiti with big plans to make a difference in the community of Bayonnaise (Free Babes is coming out with a Haiti collection soon, made by the local women)! In all honesty, these are some of my favorite bows and are on heavy rotation in Amelia’s collection (some weeks we only wear Free Babes). They’re made really well (they’re guaranteed!) and come in the most beautiful colors and Liberty of London prints. Amelia has 14 bows and I’m ordering more for spring, so you know I love them (I like to think that I’ve become a bit of a bow connoisseur since having her!)!
