My favorite kinds of gifts to get for my mom and mother-in-law are gifts that I know they wouldn’t buy for themselves. I know that my mom loves pretty mugs and cute lounge clothes but she rarely wants to spend the money on herself, let alone on something she doesn’t need. I usually get something pretty and somewhat small as I also like to spend time with my mom as part of her gift, so we’ll usually go for a facial or a manicure and pedicure, too.
