In my high school and college days, I hated turtlenecks. I claimed that I hated anything around my neck but I have a feeling I was scarred by some turtleneck I’d worn when I was younger (so, think 90s clothing… my Mom used to use fabric paint to “decorate” matching turtlenecks for me and my sister). Anyway, over the last couple of years I’ve developed somewhat of a new found love for turtlenecks, especially chunky knit turtleneck sweaters! Though I’m still building my collection, they’re on most of my wish lists- they’re perfect for layering (especially J.Crew’s tissue turtleneck tee), and perfect for keeping you warm and cozy on really cold days.

We got to see our baby girl via ultrasound yesterday! It was really cool being able to see her so much more developed than the last time we saw her at 20 weeks! We were able to get a picture of her face and I swear she looks like Joe already! She looks perfectly healthy other than being really tiny (she’s measuring in the 13th percentile) so we just have to keep a close eye on her movements and we’re into the once a week visits now (a little early) so we can monitor her growth (and my nerves, or so my doctor likes to joke) more closely. I hope you all have a great day! I’m happy that it’s not as bitter cold here today- looks like it’s going to be in the 40s!
