This is one of my favorite looks I’ve worn, not only because I feel like this is very much “me” (I love to dress up but honestly don’t have that many occasions that call for it… plus, being at home with a baby, this is much closer to my daily attire… and so much more practical), but also because this outfit is comprised of all of my favorite pieces in my closet. I’ve been really into beanies lately, especially ones with poms on the top, and this one is no exception. I love that it says “happy” in different colors across the front! This vest is a new favorite of mine, too! I love the green, it is super warm, and it goes with everything (I’ve seriously had to stop myself from wearing it pretty much every day the past week!)… oh, and it’s only $35!

I hope you all had a happy New Year! It’s hard to believe that it’s 2016 but I’m excited for a clean slate (not that I’ve been the most ambitious this past weekend with making or keeping any resolutions but that’s my plan for this week!)! I got The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and The Happiness Project recently so purging, cleaning, organizing, and happiness are high on my list this year! I didn’t even realize it until right now but that makes this beanie super appropriate for my first blog post of 2016!
