These mittens are the warmest gloves ever and they were only $5 at Anthropologie (yes, seriously!)! They’re on sale for under $10 right now which is still pretty amazing. I’m definitely planning on packing them for an upcoming trip to Vermont! I layered up for a cold day in the city and the the way the bright stripes on the sweater pop against the other neutrals in this look.

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was crazy- we had to take Amelia to the ER on Friday afternoon because she had another “blue” episode (this time was a little different, though- she was awake, only her lips were blue and the rest of her face was almost ashen, and it lasted about 30 minutes). Her chest X-ray and EKG looked normal (for her, at least) which was good because that ruled out heart failure and though they didn’t run any additional tests (she has to get an echo in two weeks, anyway), they kept her overnight for observation. Which meant that Joe and I slept there, too… or rather spent the night but didn’t quite sleep. Needless to say, when they discharged her on Saturday (with little explanation as to what happened), we were all exhausted! We were so happy to be home but also so tired so we spent most of Saturday relaxing and Sunday after Mass, Joe went to work and Amelia and I went to a bridal shower. I feel like there’s so much to do and now I’m feeling super overwhelmed because we didn’t really get to any items on our to do list this weekend or yesterday (Miss Amelia had 3 appointments yesterday so we had pretty much zero downtime!)! Here’s to crossing some items off our to do lists today! Happy Tuesday!
