These photos are from a recent trip to Longwood Gardens during their Orchid Extravaganza. It was a beautiful day so we wanted to do something outdoors and neither of us had been to Longwood Gardens in years. Though there wasn’t much in bloom outside, it was really nice to just walk the grounds and let Amelia walk around a bit. Also, the orchids were absolutely beautiful! I love orchids (they remind me of my Pop Pop) but I can’t seem to keep them alive- I have two at home and though their leaves are still green, they haven’t bloomed in over a year and I’m pretty sure their stems are like wood now. My not-so-green thumb aside, I love anything floral and these sneakers are no exception (they’re a couple of years old so I can’t find the same print but I also love this one and this one!)! Florals for spring? Yes, please!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was pretty laid back, which was really nice, and included housework and planning for upcoming house projects (we think we’re renovating our kitchen- exciting but expensive and a little nerve-wracking!). It also included a lot of eating and spending time with family but not a lot of blog work that I’d planned on doing, but it was a really good weekend! Happy Monday!
