Ok, so Nordstrom seems to be having some site issues this morning but I’m going to go ahead and post this anyway. Here are my top picks from the sale. I really try to buy mostly staple items that I know I’m getting a really good deal on and would probably buy anyway (this is my fourth pair of Zella leggings and my second pair of their high waisted ones- they’re my favorite!). Also, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to buy any designer items you’ve been wanting or may need to replace for fall (jeans and boots or booties are a really good example of this!)!

I know lots of people like to stock up on tees and cardigans during this sale, too, and I usually add a few more basics like those to my wardrobe from this sale. The prices are just too good!

Anyway, here’s a first look at my favorites. I will be updating and adding to this post throughout the next couple of weeks and I’ll be adding more Nordstrom Anniversary Sale related posts, too! I think I’ll break down more of my favorites (or my opinion of the best deals) by category and then I’ll do another post with the best of kids, mens, home, and beauty products! It seems like they don’t sell out as fast as women’s clothes and shoes (which sell out ridiculously fast, in my humble opinion).

UPDATE: After a crazy day dealing with the ups and downs of Nordstrom’s site, they sent an apologetic email saying that they would give everyone 10x the points today! So, here’s my favorites broken down into categories, as promised!
