I got this dress on sale at Madewell a few weeks ago and it was one of those that when I tried it on, I knew I had to have it. For some reason, it immediately reminded me of something Kate Middleton would wear… so I know it was perfect for high tea at the Bellevue in the city with my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law! I love the rich wine color of the dress and the print makes its classic silhouette a bit more playful. I paired it with my pearl necklace and my monogrammed clutch from GiGi New York (perfect Christmas present for her, by the way, if you’re still shopping!) to add polish and the fringe booties for added interest.

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was very busy but so nice! We had my sister’s bridal shower yesterday and though Mother Nature threw us a curve ball with a snowstorm (we got a very unexpected 6 inches or so and needless to say the roads were uncleared and even some shut down in the afternoon… Candice almost didn’t make it to her own shower!), everything turned out beautifully. She had a great time! Thank you to all of the bridesmaids and friends and family who helped to make it such a success! Stay tuned for pictures this week!!
