My Sister’s Bridal Shower!

1-157
We had my sister’s bridal shower over the weekend and, other than the fact that she almost didn’t make it there because of the surprise snow storm, it went really well! Instead of actually giving the shower a general theme, we tried to tie things that reminded us of Candice into the decorations and little extras. This invitation, designed by PaperDuo (which, by the way, I am totally obsessed with), was the start of it all. PaperDuo custom designed this invite for us and because we loved the look so much (who isn’t obsessed with the chalkboard look right now?!), we kind of used this as a base for the rest of the shower decor. My sister and her fiance also got engaged on St. Patrick’s day (also around the time that they met a few years back and they’re getting married on March 15th) so we tried to tie some Irish themed items into the decor as well. I am so thrilled with how everything turned out!

Aww!!! Bill is holding Can’s “Bride” mason jar 🙂

I have to tell you guys that this was one of the best event planning experiences I have ever had. Every single bridesmaid my sister has put so much work and time into this, I can’t thank them enough. We met once a month starting in August, we divided everything right down the middle, we collaborated on almost every decision, and at least for my part, I have never experienced a more delightful collaboration. Everyone had my sister’s best interests at heart and everyone had a part to play. It was really cool to see how everyone’s ideas came together in the final product! Can, you are so lucky to have every single one of those girls in your life (but we’re lucky to have you, too!)!

If anyone is planning a shower and has any questions or would like any advice, please feel free to email me! I feel like we had an amazing system!

❤Britt

P.S.
If you’re getting all this snow that we’re getting over here, I hope you have a snow day!!

Sincerely, Britt
