I swear, any time I wear something floral, buy fresh flowers, or even see anything floral-related for that matter, I smile and instantly feel my spirits lifted. They have this uncanny power over me to make me feel happier! Does anyone else feel that way? So, for this reason, and because they’re pretty and usually rather colorful, I’m almost always drawn to floral prints. I decided to mix two floral prints here and even though they’re not in the same color family, it works because the prints are similar in size and also because I pulled the yellow in as an accent color throughout the look. I also wore a brighter blue top as opposed to a lighter shade of blue to break up the pastels so that the brighter accents wouldn’t look out of place.
