These are our first professional photos as a family of three! We didn’t really have a chance to get newborn photos with Amelia between NICU stays and it wasn’t really the first thing on my mind when we finally got her home with her Apnea monitor and CPAP as I was trying to balance learning a new baby with learning new medical equipment and nursing visits, PT, and all of her doctors’ appointments. At any rate, here we are at almost 7 months old (can you believe it?!) getting our first family photos taken. And I couldn’t be happier with them! She was such a trooper (though not overly generous with her smiles), even with missing her morning nap and I’m just over the moon for this little family of mine. We couldn’t bring Niko this time (it’s a lot to handle him and Mia, plus it was really hot outside) but we’ll definitely get some of him and Mia soon!
