I don’t know why it took me so long to jump on the smocked dress train but I’m officially sold! The smocking at the top is so flattering on so many body types and the ruffle sleeves on this dress add the prettiest dose of feminine detail. I love the dress that I’m wearing here in particular because it is made of 100% organic cotton and it’s under $70! This is definitely a 3 season dress that will take you from spring into summer and easily through to fall. This blue and white striped smocked dress is next on my wish list! This summer, I’m focusing on adding pieces that feel special to my closet with feminine details like smocking, lace, bows, eyelet, and natural fibers that make me look forward to wearing them.

I like this style of the smocked dress because it’s a little more laid back and good for everyday dressing come summer. It feels just as at home with sneakers and a hat as it does dressed up with sandals and some gold jewelry.
How sweet are the blue and white stripes and tie straps on this smocked tank top? I typically tend towards cotton tanks and tees in the summer but always begrudge not having anything “cuter” in my wardrobe.
