I never know what to wear for the Fourth of July because I’m not much of a costume-y person and, to be honest, I usually feel like I’m dressing up when I dress for a holiday (in case you hadn’t guessed, Halloween is NOT my favorite… at least not the dressing up part). So, I added some olive green to this red, white, and blue color combination to make it feel a little more like something I would normally wear. You could swap out the green shorts for a pair of denim shorts (or black would look cute, too!) but somehow I don’t own one pair of denim shorts! I also really like the idea of mixing different shades of reds and blues or wearing all of one color and adding accents with the others. What are you planning to wear for the Fourth?!

Do you have any fun plans for this weekend or for the Fourth of July? We are thinking of trying to get to the beach for a little but who know! We’re definitely planning on spending lots of time with family and friends, though… and maybe doing some work around the house (and moving Amelia into her room, finally!)!
