I recently had the opportunity to choose some personalized stationery from Basic Invite and I was so excited! Personalized stationery has been on my wish list for years and I just never got around to purchasing my own so you can imagine I was very happy to accept these gifted items!* I have always been into reading books, writing handwritten letters, and anything vintage (I was an English major in college with a focus on British Literature) and I really think that letter writing is becoming a lost art. So, naturally, I want to make sure I carry on the tradition of the handwritten note (and beautiful stationery) with my kids (read on for a discount code!).
Here’s Amelia writing thank you notes for her birthday party. She loved seeing her name and the flowers on her personalized note cards and was so excited to write on them!
It was super simple to customize the stationery I chose and I especially loved the fact that I could change almost any color on whatever piece I chose from a list of their almost unlimited colors. Basic Invite is one of the few sites that allows you this almost unlimited color option feature and they also have instant previews online (this is huge for me!)! The other really cool thing is that you can change almost anything you see on the card, including individual elements of each design (think a monogrammed floral wreath and being able to choose the colors of the floral wreath as well as the monogram!).
On a side note, I wish I would known about their graduation party invitations when we had my sister’s graduation party last June! They also offer graduation announcements (which we didn’t do but these are so cute and such a nice keepsake) and graduation thank you cards (which I also never got for her) and would make it so much easier to streamline everything!
I also think the graduation thank you cards or personalized stationery would be a sweet gift to a new grad to either write personalized thank you notes or to take with them on their next adventure! Or even for a new bride! I know I love stationery, particularly if it’s monogrammed, in general and would love it anytime but I think it would add such a personal touch to gift a bride some stationery with her new initials.
Even though Basic Invite does have instant previews online, if that’s not enough they also allow you to order a printed sample of whatever it is you want before placing your final order. This way, you can check the paper quality for yourself (it’s lovely card stock of a really nice weight and thickness) and see the colors in real life to make sure that it is exactly what you want. Basic Invite’s signature matte and smooth coated paper products are also FSC certified which means that these products are sourced from places that practice environmental and social responsibility!
I’m really excited to share that right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code 15FF51! You can also find Basic Invite on social media @basicinvite 🙂 Are you a stationery nerd like me? Snail mail really is the best, in my own humble opinion!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and read my blog! It really means a lot to me. I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted here (do you follow me on Instagram @brittanyamonroe? I try to post there daily if not every other!) but we’ve had a pretty rough winter over here! Someone in our family has been sick weekly since Christmas, my mom was in the hospital (she’s ok now!), and then all four of us got the stomach bug but it was a week apart each so it seemed like we were just perpetually sick here! I’m really hoping that March brings some healthy vibes and that flu season is over soon!
