While I do try to get dressed at least a few days during the week when I’m home (it usually depends on how crazy the day is), I also have to be conscious of what’s practical. I’d love to wear skirts & dresses every day but it just doesn’t work with my daily lifestyle… so, I typically end up in jeans.I really need to do some dress/shorts/skirts shopping for summer, though, because jeans just aren’t going to cut it in the heat! I also really need to up my sandals game. For whatever reason, I tend not to buy sandals or open toe shoes often… I think I get nervous that I won’t be able to wear them much but I have a few on my list for this summer! I’m looking for some with elements that add interest, like the silver tops of these mint flats!

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend! We had a really nice weekend, but somehow 3 days even seemed so short. We kept busy almost every day between barbeques and housework! We’re having Amelia’s Christening this coming weekend so we were trying to get our house in order for that… and still working on it! Have a great day!
