I am definitely a hat person. I love big, floppy hats, hats with bows, baseball caps, and almost everything in between. Strangely enough though, I don’t wear hats very often in the winter (when most people wear hats most often)… maybe next year I’ll try out the beanie. I wore this outfit over the weekend when we had pretty low key plans. This hat is definitely not an afterthought, I’ve already planned a few looks around it for the summer (also previously worn here)!

Joe and I finally decided on a place- we’re going to Newport, RI, next weekend for a quick getaway! I’m really looking forward to taking a road trip (we’ve never taken a road trip together beyond the shore, aside from driving in Ireland but there was 6 of us) and Newport is gorgeous.
