Since I’ve clearly been sticking to a certain uniform-like dress code lately, I thought I”d add some interest with denim on denim. I love the contrast of the dark denim with the faded chambray but since I was wearing this to work and needed some extra warmth, I added the sweater to make the denim on denim impact a little less severe (tip: this is a really easy way to try wearing denim on denim, if you’ve been wanting to try it but don’t want to go too over the top). I kept everything else neutral to keep the denim pieces the highlight of the look.

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend 🙂 Joe and I had a pretty low key, relaxing one. We got some shopping done and even some house cleaning… and we finally took down the tree! I’m not usually ready to take it down right after Christmas but for some reason this year I wanted to wait longer than usual to take it down (even though we’ve had most of our other decorations down for almost 2 weeks). Now I’m desperately craving some warmer weather and the sea 🙂
