This drop waist dress came with a tie around belt but I think it looks better when worn without it because it is the same pattern as the rest of the dress. So, I added my own belt instead to break it up a bit. Though it can also be worn with no belt at all, I usually prefer to add one (to most dresses without a defined waist, actually) as I feel like I get lost inside some shift dresses. Plus, a belted waist makes for a super flattering look! I really like the way the berry, blue, and pink is jiving in this outfit. A deep berry/plum shade is quickly becoming one of my favorite shades this season! I even found measuring cups at Target the other day in shades of berry that I was dying to buy, but I held out and stuck to my list 🙁
