So, I’ve been much better at taking Instagram outfit photos rather than outfit photos for the blog (meaning using our DSLR) mostly because Joe isn’t always with me anymore when I get dressed, in which case it’s much easier to ask someone to take a quick iPhone photo. Or because we tend to forget the camera or don’t have the time on our way to get where we’re going (daylight savings doesn’t help). But one of my blog goals for 2019 is to take more outfit photos again. I love them, but how do you feel about them?
This was a look I styled back in the fall. Love that boyfriend jeans transition so well from season to season, from sandals to mules to booties!

I’ve been really wanting to Marie Kondo my closet (has anyone else been watching her show on Netflix?!) and scrolling through these photos makes me want to do it even more! I typically rotate between the same pieces whether it be shoes, sweaters, or dresses and I think I’m holding on to a lot of pieces “just in case” I ever need them or want to wear them again. Here’s to getting motivated to actually do it and let go of any unnecessary items I’m keeping in my closet!
Hope you all have a great weekend! We’ve had the stomach bug over here since last Saturday morning so I’m hoping to have a healthy weekend and maybe get out for a walk (and maybe take some pictures!)! Thanks for reading!
