I paired my olive shorts with this chambray striped top and pops of pink accents for a fun end of summer look. While part of me wants to start pulling out all my comfy sweaters, another part of me isn’t quite there yet… especially since that means winter is closer than I’d like. So, I figured I’d ease into the season by pairing some fall and summer pieces and colors… not to mention that it’s not really cool enough yet to bring out a cardigan before 7pm, and that’s only some nights.

I hope you all had a great weekend! We got some family pictures done yesterday and I love them! They’re the first professional photos we’ve had done since Amelia was born and it made me wonder a bit why I didn’t get them done sooner. We didn’t really get to have her newborn pictures taken the way we wanted to since she was in the NICU for the first 6 weeks so I was really excited to get these done. I’ll be sharing some of them on the blog this week so stay tuned! Happy Monday and happy back to school week (thankfully we’re not dealing with that madness yet!)!
