Mixing prints is easy when you use the same colors, and even easier with polka dots and stripes. I love hats but I don’t wear them as often as I used to as they’re not always the most practical with Miss Amelia. I felt like I had to add a hat here, though… there’s just something about midi skirts (especially A-line styles) and hats! A floppy hat seems to instantly make an outfit more chic.

Happy Monday! I hope you guys had a great weekend! We enjoyed a weekend at the beach and had a lot of fun putting Amelia in the ocean for the first time. She LOVED it! Tomorrow I probably won’t be posting anything here because our little girl is scheduled for surgery first thing in the am (just tubes… well, a tube in the left ear at least, a scope, and they’ll take a deeper look into her right ear to see if they can figure out what’s going on there). They’re expecting her to do just fine but she has a bed reserved just in case we need to spend the night. I’ll be keeping up with my Instagram, though, so follow along if you aren’t already!
