I bought this little black dress a few years back (it was actually for a bachelorette party!) and thought that it would be perfect for a Friday night wedding. I added my classic black blazer to make it more appropriate and some fun metallic heels to add some pizazz and as it turns out, I was right! Throw in some red lipstick, red nail polish and some jazzy jewelry and you’re good to go! You can never go wrong with red lipstick.

Happy Thursday! Do you guys have any exciting plans for the weekend? I’ve been so off the ball lately, I feel like we (or at least I) have had something almost every night for the last few weeks! Catching up on everyday tasks has become a luxury around here! I’m hoping to get back on track next week after the holiday. What I really need is a few days at home just to get organized but with summer coming to an end so quickly, I just keep procrastinating (I know you feel the same way!). So, Joe and I are going to spend the next few days in Maryland with his family… hopefully the weather gets a little bit nicer!
