Because I didn’t add a belt to this outfit to break up the color, it almost looks like I’m wearing a dress instead of a similar hued skirt and shirt! I do love dresses but I feel like sometimes a skirt offers more versatility because you can change up the look depending on what you pair with it (yes, you can do this with dresses, too, but it’s a little more difficult). I wear more skirts than dresses I think for that exact reason, even though most times I would prefer a dress 🙂
