I just posted here this week about my love for plaid for fall… and any time, really. This plaid shirt is new for me this year and I love the simplicity of the black and white. It was time for me to start updating my sweaters and some of my winter wardrobe as most pieces in my closet are close to 4 or 5 years old, or older, which means you’ve probably seen them countless times. I love that this shirt looks great on its own but I’m also excited to wear it under a dress and with lots of sweaters as it gets cooler! I added some slip ons and destroyed jeans for a super casual look on the lake in Georgia.

It’s been all rain here since we got home on Sunday (and it rained from Thursday through Sunday in Georgia) so my hair has been a mess, I’ve been wearing my Hunter boots everywhere (not that I mind… makes me really believe I need another pair, though!), and I haven’t been able to do outfit photos all week (and probably won’t be able to for a while yet thanks to Hurricane Joaquin).
