Even though this top is red and blue striped, I feel like it is one of those wear with (almost) anything tops. It pairs really well with skinny jeans (remember way back when I wore it here?), you can dress it up (see here) or dress it down like I did here. I really like the nautical vibe that I got by pairing it with these navy polka dotted shorts with the buttons lining the pockets and my Sperrys. This was a perfect look for me to say goodbye to our last weekend of summer in Maryland (and perfect for the boating town where we stay!)!

We opted not to go to New York for the day yesterday mostly because we’ve just had way too much going on lately but I’ve been following along through Instagram of some of my favorite bloggers that are there, like Mara from M Loves M (so bummed I didn’t get to meet her yesterday at the RewardStyle party!) and Julia from Gal Meets Glam!
