I’ve been adding this blanket scarf to everything lately… so you may or may not see it in another outfit post this week (sorry in advance!)… it’s warm, comfortable, and the plaid adds the perfect amount of pattern and hint of fall to every look. I feel like sweaters and plaid are the unofficial uniform for fall (and maybe booties and felt hats). What do you think?

I’m sorry I skipped yesterday’s post but if you follow me on Instagram, you’d know that Amelia is sick. I ended up taking her to the pediatrician yesterday morning and she just had a cold and a slight cough but it got worse as the day (and night) proceeded. She developed a fever last night and had a lot of trouble falling and staying asleep… poor thing. It’s never fun to see your baby sick but I guess we’re pretty lucky that in the last 8 1/2 months, this is the first time she’s really been sick (she had a cold over the summer but that’s been it!).
