I know I told you guys the other day but I really am obsessed with crop tops lately (Case in point: they’re in two outfit posts in one week!)! I love this one though, especially since it describes how I feel on most days (even if I actually get around to putting on make up- my hair is usually not done at any given point in time!)! I wore this on Mother’s Day for a laid back brunch at my Grandmom’s house and I felt like I was wearing something my Mom would have worn about 15 years ago 🙂 It seemed oddly fitting to wear for Mother’s Day (especially after she commented about how much she liked my outfit). Fashion was always present for me growing up; my mom would always take me out to get a new outfit for upcoming events and though she was always up on the latest trends, she blended them seamlessly with classic pieces (actually, she has evolved into a very eclectic/boho style which is where I get my eclectic taste from, though I also like girly and classic pieces here and there more than she does). My mom definitely instilled in me a love for clothes and jewelry and taught me how to pull a look together. Who was your first fashion icon? What did your mom teach you about style?
