I wore a ton of really trendy pieces when I was younger, then moved into a “neutrals only” phase and, now, over the last few years, I’ve been building up my collection of printed pieces that I really love. I tend to stick to block prints or floral prints (I’m not counting stripes as a print here) and only buy pieces that I can’t stop thinking about… with the exception of this block print quilted jacket that I bought on the spot! A pretty print never fails to make me smile and makes any outfit more interesting. Try a printed blouse with wide leg jeans, a printed dress or skirt with a solid colored sweater, or a printed pareo (also love all things Julia Amory) over any swimsuit!

Emerson Fry Dress (old, similar), Everlane Cardigan (old, similar), M. Gemi Drivers, Quince Italian Leather Crossbody, Blue Planet Sunglasses (c/o, use code BRITTANYAMONROE for 10% off)
This shell print on this dress in this bold coral color is so eye-catching and gorgeous. I’m not sure I have an excuse to buy this dress this summer but I really want to! It also comes in this scalloped mini version. Pair it with gold jewelry for an extra pop.
I don’t own a single pair of printed pants but these are on my spring wish list. Wear them with a crisp white button down & natural sandals, a black tank & sleek black slides, or over a solid colored swimsuit (stripes would be fun, too!).
