Of all the shades of red I’ve been wearing lately (or have ever worn, for that matter), I think this orange-red is the most flattering and it works with pretty much all skin tones. It also is the most appropriate shade for taking you from day to night. It’s not too dramatic so it works for the daytime but it’s bright and fun enough to add a punch of color and still lend some pizzazz to your nighttime look. It would look great with an all neutral look as a pop of color but I also like to pair it with brights for a more stand out look (though it would actually probably pop more when worn with an all neutral look- the other bright colors in this outfit take away from the bright lip a bit).

I’m really excited that Nordstrom is having their half yearly sale right now! In case you didn’t know, Nordstrom is one of my go to places to shop so whenever they have a big sale, Joe and I take some time to check it out in store (sometimes two or three times!). However, lately I’ve been doing more online shopping than ever, which is actually pretty perfect for this sale because you have a better chance (usually) of finding something in the size and color that you want!
