Spring Pastels and Pops of Color with Everlane

While I know not all of us are getting dressed right now (I’m in leggings or joggers most of the time, too) and we may not all have the budget to be adding to our wardrobes, it’s still fun to play around with colors and spring styles so here’s a look a put together recently from one of my favorite sustainable brands, Everlane (see here for a casual weekend look and here for my favorite white jeans).

Everlane is currently having their Choose What You Pay event and are adding tons of new styles from some of their favorite collections! Even if you haven’t been following me that long, you probably know that Everlane is one of my favorite brands for their transparency, sustainability, and affordability. They’re clothes are also stylish and comfortable and perfect for everyday wear (full disclosure: these items were gifted to me by Everlane).

I’ve been wanting to try a pair of pants from Everlane, other than jeans, for a while now and recently I was really excited to try these lightweight straight leg crop pants! They’re actually on sale right now! I am typically in between sizes and tried both sizes in these pants. I ended up going with the smaller size because of the high waist (the larger size gapped a lot in the waist) so I would say if you have a smaller waist to maybe size down.

You can’t go wrong with a classic red shoe and I’ve wanted a pair for a long time. I finally found these and they didn’t disappoint! They’re super cute, very comfortable, and extremely versatile as they work just as well with pants and they do with dresses. They also have this color red in these flats which are on sale (!) and are honestly the more comfortable I’ve ever owned (I have them in mocha).

I got this cardigan a little over a year ago and it’s one of the most worn items in my closet. The cool gray tone goes with everything from neutrals to brights and the soft cotton feels really good on (also love this sweater in chartreuse made of the same material!). I’m really picky about my clothes and the materials used (which is why I’m such a big fan of Everlane) and this cardigan doesn’t disappoint! If it’s not appropriate for all 4 seasons (summer is HOT here), it 100% works for at least 3 of them!

And last but not least (my Everlane collection began with a t-shirt), I now have this tank in black and pink. It’s super lightweight so perfect for summer and it’s a bit oversized so it’s nice and airy.

Anyway, I hope you had a nice weekend! The weather was gorgeous here. We took a ride to the beach on Friday and even though we were only there for a couple of hours, it did wonders for my mood. I didn’t realize how much I needed a change of scenery and to see the ocean, or maybe I did but didn’t know how much it would affect me… the rest of the weekend was spent working and playing outside and enjoying the weather on our porch and it was so nice. We’re back to dreary and chillier weather today and we started the morning with a leak in our kitchen ceiling so now I need to do something to turn the day around so I can be somewhat productive. I started reading The Book Charmer a few days ago and have to force myself to do anything other than read, especially on days like today! Wish me luck!

Sincerely, Britt
