It seems like all I’ve been wearing this summer has been swimsuits and pajamas and honestly, it’s been a dream! I can hardly believe that it’s August tomorrow. It’s been an incredibly fast summer and I’m not ready for it to end yet… or to go back to wearing real clothes. Summer never feels long enough and then, just when you’re finally settling into a groove of everyone being home, it’s time to adjust to a new schedule again.
I’m still loving bold colors this season and my pre-fall mindset has definitely not set in yet. I’ve been trying to clean out my closet little by little this summer (but, kids…) and then trying to take note of what I need and styles I really love to wear. The striped pants trend is still going strong and it’s one that I think is really classic, especially if you go for a sophisticated color way. This navy and white striped pair of poplin pants would look just as cute with a cropped tank as it would with a bulky sweater and a low sneaker.
I’ve been really loving the shell jewelry trend and though I have yet to jump on it, this necklace has been in my cart for over a week! I like that it’s neutral and the bronze hue doesn’t feel too seasonal so it can be worn well into fall. I can see it over chunky knits and sneakers as well as with strappy dresses and sandals.
