Thanksgiving Outfit Idea & Bumpdate

I was recently given this LuLaRoe swing dress and it’s been great for this growing bump! I love that the deep blue color works really well with classic fall colors but it will also work through the winter when layered with tights and sweaters. This would be a good dress to wear on Thanksgiving (or I also love this sweater dress or this lighter version) since there’s lots of room to eat and you don’t have to unbutton your jeans when you’ve eaten too much and feel too full… not that I’ve had to do that before 😉 Depending on the weather, add boots or booties and a chunky sweater (maybe even tights) and you’ve got a look that’s casual and cute!

We also had an ultrasound early yesterday morning (and I have a doctor’s appointment today) and they said that everything looks great with our little guy! He is measuring in the 19th percentile so that automatically qualifies us for another one in 3 weeks (they bring back anyone measuring under the 20th but there’s not a problem until the baby is measuring below the 10th) which is fine by me. He was head down today, too, so that was a relief! I’m feeling ok, just extremely tired and having lots of heartburn. I’m starting to feel a little crampy but I know that means the end is in sight!

Happy Tuesday, guys! We got so much done around the house this weekend and I’m starting to feel pretty good about it! We finished painting the whole downstairs (living room, dining room, and kitchen- we alternated between two shades of what I thought were tan-gray and while unfortunately they ended up looking pretty similar on our walls, at least it looks clean!), got some shelving up for photos, got new curtains for the living room, cleaned the kitchen, did some more laundry (because, you know, it’s never ending… literally N E V E R), and added a few more finishing touches to Amelia’s room and to the nursery (room reveals will be up soon- there are just a couple of final pieces I need to add). Tonight we need to get the baby things out of the attic, pull out the Christmas decorations, and put a few pieces up in the attic now that we’ve changed our decor downstairs. I’m also really hoping to get a whole lot of Christmas shopping done in these next few days. Check back for gift guides and sales!
