Right before our trip to Vermont, I got this light blue coat from Nordstrom (for under $100!) and this plaid button down from J.Crew (also on sale!). Usually, by this time in the season I’m ready to start buying only spring clothes but I couldn’t pass up this coat and this button down! Even though they’re not technically neutrals (and I say technically because blue is the next best color to a neutral, in my opinion), they’re still both classic pieces that I know will last season after season, so I didn’t mind picking them up towards the end of this one. Plus, I did get some wear out of them in Vermont (I also picked up this Free People thermal that I’ve been wanting for a while and I love it!)!
