I’m so excited that there are flowers blooming, finally! Every time I step outside, I look for the hints of green and pops of color in the spring blooms that are starting to appear everywhere. When we went to Terrain over the weekend for brunch, there were flowers all over the place! I wanted to buy them all but I refrained (rather, Joe restrained me by asking if I had a “place” for each plant I wanted to buy, and of course, I did not.). I pulled out this olive dress and paired it with navy accents because I felt like the darker neutrals grounded the pops of bright pink. A blazer is one of those pieces in your closet that can take a look from casual to chic. Also, as much as I want to pull out my spring and summer bright, it is still March… and I’ve got a lot of shopping to do! I’m hoping that this is the last look I’ll be wearing with tights, though!

Today is one of those days I’m feeling lucky for having some pretty amazing friends. I couldn’t do a blog post yesterday because last night when I went to log onto my computer to write the (this) post, I got an error message that indicated my Windows user profile was corrupt. Thankfully, I have a really awesome friend who, even though he works full time and is married with twins (they’re actually only a month younger than Amelia!), took time out of his morning to remote into my computer and fix it!
