Joe and I are happy to announce that we’re expecting an addition to our little family in February! After almost 4 years married and 10 years together, we’re beyond excited to start this next chapter in our lives. Because we met in high school (around age 15) and started dating at age 17, we’ve had the privilege of growing up together and of experiencing life together. We got engaged the year we graduated college (December 2009) and married the following October. In the last 10 years, we’ve had so many ups and downs but we’ve gotten through everything together; we have longstanding shared memories, we have the same (amazing) friends (many from high school and college), we’ve traveled to so many interesting places, got a dog (Joe also inherited my 2 cats when we got married), bought a house (and have completed a ton of house projects), and have happily settled into married life. I hope to never take for granted how lucky and blessed we’ve been in finding each other so early in life and how awesome it is to share your life with someone who has all the same memories that you do (minus childhood, of course), the same values, and the same goals for the future. We’ve had time to enjoy each other and grow up together and it’s been an honor to watch Joe grow into the man he’s become. I know he’s going to make an amazing father! We couldn’t be more excited and I’m so happy to be able to share it with you as well!
