I am in no way ready for fall, but the seasons wait for no one; it seems it’s coming our way regardless of how I feel about it. I do, though, love a good opportunity to refresh my wardrobe, and I’m definitely ready to put away the ultra bright colors for a bit and lean into a more sophisticated palette of bold but classic color. I’ve noticed that I’ve been filling my cart with browns, plums, greens (especially variations of olive and hunter), and golds, and I’ve been loving navy more than usual, too. I know none of these hues are groundbreaking for fall yet somehow they still feel fresh and new after the tropical-leaning colors of summer.

I have this chunky cardigan in olive green and it’s the perfect weight and length. Wear it with this cotton tank dress and brown sandals for a laid-back weekend look. I just bought this wavy claw clip ($5!) and LOVE it! I have very thick and wavy hair and it holds it really well. I can’t get over the beautiful color of these super soft pajamas (also love this fall floral set). These On Cloudwander sneakers are waterproof and will take you into this season and the next… these blue On sneakers are on my wish list, too.
