I’ve been layering non stop over here lately. It’s been too cold not to wear multiple layers, and even then I’m usually still chilly. I’ve been crushing on anything plaid lately so when I saw this shirt on sale at J.Crew, I had to snatch it up! I love the red tartan against the emerald and even though it reminds me a bit of the holidays, it was too perfect not to pair them together! I tried to play down the colors and glam associated with the holidays by adding gray tights and riding boots.

Did you guys have a good weekend? Ours was relatively laid back but not super productive… I’m getting sick again! This back and forth weather is driving me (and my immune system) crazy! It’s looking like this week is going to consist of more tea with honey and extra sleep. So frustrating!
