Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner but since Amelia’s birthday comes a little more than a week before and I focus on that first, I’m always a bit behind in getting my thoughts together. Here’s my wish list of sorts spanning multiple price points for gifts I’d personally enjoy receiving. I don’t love the idea of putting a lot of pressure on gifting for Valentine’s Day but if you are, I think making the gift personal and taking some time to think about who you’re gifting is key to it being well received. I also like to give and receive gifts I wouldn’t typically buy myself.

For under $50, you can grab a widely coveted (and extremely useful) Stanley Tumbler in a pretty color for her to take to work or from carline to activity… to activity. Does she have a favorite book? I think finding a beautiful hardcover version and writing a sweet love note in it is a touching gift… maybe include dinner, too? I never want to buy myself sneakers but I’ve been really loving all of the colorful pairs I’ve been seeing lately. If you want to spend a little more, consider adding a matching workout or lounge set to round it out. LAKE and Negative have some great options depending on what you’re looking for! I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a pretty piece of jewelry (yellow gold, please!) unless she’s a bag girl in which case, get a nice one that she wouldn’t buy for herself like this classic Tory Burch tote or this mini daisy tote!

I’m not usually one for trends but I love all of the colorful sneakers that are so popular right now! I especially love ones that aren’t white because… well, kids! These vanilla colored sneakers with pops of green and blue are high on my wish list!

I really love this heart printed sweatshirt! It feels whimsical, looks cozy, and would be the perfect layer to throw on with jeans and sneakers on a cold morning (or over your pajamas for school drop off!). If you want to sweeten the deal, there are matching sweatpants, too!

Ariel Gordon can do no wrong in my eyes. I’ve been religiously wearing her pieces day and night for years and each collection she puts out is more beautiful than the last! Her jewelry is classic with a side of whimsy and made to be worn daily. Additional pieces on my AG wish list include these hoop earrings (or any of her hoops, really), this petite link bracelet, and these rainbow studs
